We are recruiting a Workforce & Performance Analyst Officer to work closely with colleagues across the HR and the L&OD service, other officers and recognised trade unions: To develop, interpret and present meaningful workforce analytics:
Responsibility
We are looking for someone who is structured and organised in your approach and can use knowledge and experience within a human resources context to employ both qualitative and quantitative methods: To interpret and inform workforce data to address organisational issues, inform workforce priorities and interventions and enable effective decision making:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Degree level or equivalent, e.g. NVQ level 4 &/or relevant experience
· HRIS systems and Projects Management
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media, MS Teams
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Strong understanding of and experience in workforce data analysis and interpretation
· Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods to interpret and inform workforce data
· Demonstrates a strong understanding of workforce matters and current employment
legislation
· Evidence of good communication skills and ability to engage and communicate with staff
and managers at all levels
· Evidence of excellent numerical and written skills, ability to present clear, concise and
meaningful data sets to a high standard
· Must have proven experience in implementing HRIS systems, ideally as the project lead
· Proven ability to extract critical information and define complete requirements
· Able to convey complex data using clear and concise language
· Evidence of excellent research and analytical skills
· Demonstrates a good level of personal integrity and drive for continuous development
and improvement
· Ability to listen and respond to feedback
· Able to re-consider own thinking in light of new perspectives and information
· Demonstrates a willingness to work collaboratively and proactively within and across
departments
· Proven track record of ability to consult, influence and advise stakeholders
· Ability to work on sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
· Able to verbally and in written format create and present thoughts and ideas and
demonstrate this using a variety of presentation techniques
· Evidence of high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
· Understanding of the political structure and role of elected members
· Experience of working in a large complex organisation
· Flexible/Hybrid Working
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· Proven experience in implementing HRIS systems
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
