We are recruiting an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to be accountable for delivering medium to large-scale IT Infrastructure-related projects and initiatives within the Digital Services portfolio, bridging the gap between Operations and delivery through third-party partners.
Responsibility
To oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of projects, liaising closely with functional Leads within the operational service and working closely with third-party partners in IT infrastructure delivery within the stipulated project timeline/budget.
Qualification – Essential
· 4 GCSE passes grade A-C (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics
· Degree in the relevant profession or equivalent 5 + years experience
· Project Management qualification - is essential
· Prince2 Practitioner, PPQ or equivalent
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media:
Necessary - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Proven experience in acceptable Project Management practices as defined by the
Project Management Institute
· Five years of Technical Project Manager experience
· Substantial experience managing complete end-to-end projects (entire project lifecycle)
· Robust Project Management Methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)
· Significant experience managing complex IT infrastructure implementations Hardware
(Networks/Servers), cloud services etc.
· Excellent time management skills – ability to prioritise; Experience in chairing meetings;
Presentation and Project experience
· Ability to effectively coordinate people and activities within a multi-disciplinary project or
team
· Knowledge of Project accounting and reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting Balance
Sheet management
· Project Management qualifications such as PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, PPQ or equivalent
certification
· Demonstrable experience in project management in an IT infrastructure delivery context
· Experience in project management of migration to cloud services
· Understanding of Cisco Network components and Wireless design and delivery
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
